A portion of the atrocities committed against Hindus in Bangladesh during November

 

  • On November 1, Sanatan Jagaran Manch proclaimed a protest rally against attacks on Hindus, vandalism and arson of temples, and looting of property in Chattogram. The police barred the Hindus from joining the rally.[73]
  • On November 5, in Hazari Galli, Chattogram, police and the military violently dispersed a protest against derogatory comments about Hindus on Facebook. They looted homes, threatened to shoot shopkeepers who did not reopen their stores by the count of three, and destroyed all CCTV cameras. Subsequently, 500 Hindus were taken to military camps.[74][75][76]
  • On November 8, at 10 PM, a group of people armed with local weapons attacked the Charjot Protap Durga Mata Thakurani temple in Shibtala Karmakarpara area of Chapainawabganj town.[77][78]
  • On November 10, a temple was obstructed from holding a Geeta Path (reading of the Bhagavad Gita).[79]
  • On November 11, at 8:30 PM, an attack was carried out on a temple in the Ballavpur area, and idols were vandalized.[80]
  • On November 15, a Hindu boy was beaten to death under the supervision of the military for having a romantic relationship with a Muslim girl.[81][82] Six idols in a temple adjacent to Maheshpur Kalibari Bazar in Jamalpur Upazila were vandalized.[83]
  • On November 18, police arrested and later jailed a Hindu teacher based on false accusations of blasphemy.[84]
  • On November 22, Hindus attending a meeting to protest attacks in Rangpur were attacked by Islami Chatra Shibir, leaving at least 39 seriously injured.[85][86]
  • On November 25, a Hindu monk was arrested on charges of sedition for organizing a protest meeting against attacks on Hindus.[87][88]
  • On November 26, Bangladeshi authorities denied reports of attacks on Hindus.[89] On this day, a Muslim mob of 15-20 individuals interrogated an Indian tourist about his religion. Upon revealing that he was Hindu, the mob brutally attacked him. A Loknath temple in Dhaka was desecrated.[90][91]
  • On the night of November 28, the Mukunda Dutta Dham temple in Patiya Upazila was attacked and vandalized.[92] On the same day, the Hindu slum of lower-caste Hindu - Harijans in the Chittagong court area was set on fire.[93] A Hindu family in Kalapara Upazila of Patuakhali was threatened with eviction from the country after confiscating their land.[94]
  • On November 29, in Patharghata, Chattogram, Muslims chanted anti-Hindu slogans while vandalizing three temples and nearby Hindu-owned businesses.[95]
  • On November 30, the Bangladeshi Immigration Department barred 54 ISKCON members from traveling to India.[96][97] On the same day, a Muslim mob assaulted a Hindu journalist, verbally abusing him.[98][99][100] The number of posts on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #TMD exceeded 20,000. TMD stands for Total Malaun Dead, where Malaun refers to non-Muslims.
